Хелен Ільницька - концепт-художниця, яка спеціалізується на створенні середовищ для ігор та фільмів. Понад 5 років працювала в гейм дев компаніях, переважно з атмосфериками та органічними формами. Співпрацювала з Dragon's Lake Entertainment, Frogwares та Room8Studio. Зараз працює на фрілансі за контрактом. Постійно навчається, проходячи курси під керівництвом відомих художників, таких як Sathish Kumar та Jose Vega. Її роботи публікувалися в журналах, як-от Clarkesworld, має нагороди від 3D Total, публікації в виданні 3D Total.
Це буде лекція про важливість постійного розвитку і пошуку нових підходів, про експерименти які надихають. В цій лекції лекторка планує розповісти про свій досвід роботи (5 років в гейм дев), про досвід творчого вигорання, що це і чому воно виникає в творчих професіях, поділитись своєю історією пошуків відновлення цікавості до процесу роботи, про те як вивчення нового погляду на процес, більш незвичного і цікавого може надихнути на творчі експерименти. Продемонструє процес роботи з фотосканами (використовує KiRi Engine), легкий і цікавий та створення концепт арту на їх основі.
Helen Ilnytska is a concept artist specializing in creating environments for games and films. For over 5 years she has been working in game companies, mostly with atmospherics and organic forms. She has worked with Dragon's Lake Entertainment, Frogwares, and Room8Studio. Now she works on a freelance basis under contract. She is constantly studying, taking courses under the guidance of renowned artists such as Sathish Kumar and Jose Vega. Her work has been published in magazines such as Clarkesworld, has received awards from 3D Total, and has been published in 3D Total.
This will be a lecture about the importance of constant development and search for new approaches, about inspiring experiments. In this lecture, the lecturer plans to talk about her work experience (5 years in game dev), about the experience of creative burnout, what it is and why it occurs in creative professions, share her story of searching for renewed interest in the work process, how learning a new view of the process, more unusual and interesting, can inspire creative experiments. He will demonstrate the process of working with photo scans (using KiRi Engine), which is easy and interesting, and creating a concept of art based on them.
